Timor is an island at the south end of the Malay Archipelago, north of the Timor Sea. It is divided between the independent state of East Timor, and West Timor, belonging to the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara. It is actually nearer to Australia than to its own capital city.
In 1965, there was a great revival in a small town called Soe in Timor Island. Thousands became Christians with multitudes healed and delivered. They saw many healings, miracles such as water being turned to nonalcoholic wine for communion, some instantaneous healings, deliverance from witchcraft and demonic powers, and some people raised from death through prayer.
But as time passes, the remnant of such revival starts to slowly fade away. This is why there is an annual revival meetings to rise up again.
And this year, our senior pastor Rev. Nam Soo Kim was invited to this historical gathering. Rev. Nam Soo Kim with his 24 church members joined Indonesian revival team to call upon the Lord for another revival in Timor, Indonesia.
